HRH Crown Prince's anti-COVID-19 efforts reassured citizens, earned Bahrain global acclaim'
Housing Minister, Bassim bin Yacoub Al-Hamar, has praised the professional national efforts led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, to contain and prevent the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19).
HRH Crown Prince’s efforts have reassured the Bahraini citizens and strengthened their confidence, the minister said, noting that the kingdom’s early preparations and well-thought-out precautionary measures to combat COVID-19 have earned it global acclaim and appreciation.
Al-Hamar stressed that Team Bahrain has achieved excellence and distinction, as it has always done, affirming that all the employees of the Housing Ministry are ‘soldiers of the nation’ and are fully ready to participate in everything aimed at serving the kingdom at all levels.
He indicated that the current circumstances and challenges created by the outbreak of COVID-19 require the concerted efforts of all institutions, public and private, in order to defeat Coronavirus, noting that the media plays a major role in this regard, through launching awareness-raising campaigns on the dangers of COVID-19, and countering rumours and fallacies aimed at causing harm to society.
The minister paid tribute to the Bahrain Defence Force, the Information Affairs Ministry, the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications, the two endowments’ directorates, the Legislative Branches and all media outlets in the kingdom for the outstanding efforts they have exerted over the past period in order to ensure the safety of the nation and the citizens.
