The Jafari Endowments Directorate met today relatives of Bahraini citizens abroad who expressed thanks and respect for the kingdom’s efforts, spearheaded by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier, to combat coronavirus (COVID-19).

Head of the Jafari Endowment Council’s Executive Committee Abduljalil Ibrahim Al Tarif stressed the kingdom’s efforts to combat the novel coronavirus, pointing out procedures being taken to secure return of all citizens as soon as possible. He pointed out the ongoing cooperation between the Foreign Ministry, the Ministry of Health and the national medical team in this respect.

Al Tarif also pointed out the efforts of the Jafari Endowments Directorate and the designated team to follow up on the royal directives to cover the expenses of Bahraini citizens abroad, following the issue of coronavirus, until their return to Bahrain. He lauded in this regard the directives of HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier, at the weekly Cabinet meeting to implement the royal directives on evacuating Bahraini citizens in Iran according to preventive measures to ensure their safety. 

Al Tarif pointed out the steps taken by the Jafari Endowments Directorate since the issuance of the royal directives to facilitate the return of the Bahraini citizens.

The citizens’ relatives presented queries and proposals to boost coordination in this respect, praising the directorate’s efforts to maintain continuous communication with all until the return of the Bahraini citizens abroad.
