Ministry of Health: 47 additional individuals discharged after completing 14-day quarantine period

The Ministry of Health today announced that 47 individuals have been discharged after completing the mandatory 14-day quarantine period, bringing the total number of individuals discharged from quarantine to 115.

The Ministry emphasised that the individuals, 15 male and 30 female Bahraini nationals, and 2 Indonesian females, tested negative for the Coronavirus (COVID-19) before being discharged.

The Ministry noted that all quarantined individuals are being monitored and cared for by a specialised medical team, in line with guidelines established by the World Health Organization, to garauntee the containment of the virus and to preserve the health and safety of the community.

The Ministry further reiterated the importance of all individuals returning from Italy, South Korea, Egypt or Lebanon, during the past two weeks, to self-isolate for 14 days, limit their contact with others, and schedule their mandatory medical examinations by visiting www.moh.gov.bh/444 or calling 444.
