The Minister of Health inspects Field Hospital and medical care facilities allocated for arrivals from abroad.
HE Faeqa bint Saeed Al-Saleh, Minister of Health, today inspected the Field Hospital and medical care facilitates allocated for arrivals from abroad, returning from countries with high Coronavirus (COVID-19) infection rates.
HE the Minister noted that the Ministry will test all passengers upon their arrival, as well as isolate and quarantine expected and active cases in accordance with medical standards established by the World Health Organization (WHO).
HE the Minister confirmed that these procedures are a central aspect of the government's preventive and precautionary measures, which receive the continued support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander, and First Deputy Prime Minister.
HE the Minister directed for medical workers to double efforts, in order to efficiently and effectively care for all arrivals and ensure the safety and well-being of Bahrain’s citizens and residents.
On this note, HE the Minister commended the level of cooperation the Ministry has received in implementing all of its preventive measures.
Dr. Walid Khalifa Al-Manea, Undersecretary at the Ministry of Health, and a number of officials also attended the inspection.
