HRH Crown Prince: National unity critical in light of COVID-19
In light of the challenges presented by COVID-19, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister today emphasised that the Kingdom of Bahrain has put in place significant preventative measures, in line with international guidelines, to contain the virus’ impact.
HRH outlined that substantial resources have been deployed and public awareness campaigns are in place.
HRH noted the importance of all citizens and residents uniting together to ensure the nation remains a country healthy and safe for all.
In this regard, HRH praised the response of the Kingdom’s citizens in taking steps to follow public health guidelines and contain the potential impact of COVID-19.
HRH also stressed the Kingdom’s unwavering commitment to supporting all those affected by the virus. HRH added that our enemy is COVID-19 and not those who carry it.
HRH praised and expressed gratitude to the extensive efforts of the Kingdom’s health professionals and public services, including the Bahrain Defence Force, Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications and the Legislative Authority, who collectively form Team Bahrain.
