The Ministry of Health announced that Bahrain is free of the Sars-like coronavirus. “No cases of coronavirus were diagnosed at hospitals or health centres”, said the ministry in a statement issued today. It announced all preventive measures had been beefed up at border entry points and health facilities to avert any outbreak of the disease.  The ministry also coordinated with Bahrain International Airport to screen all passengers who arrived in the Kingdom since last Friday.  The ministry pointed out that all the participants in the Autumn Fair had been screened to ensure that they are not infected.  The ministry has also stepped up measures to monitor the developments of the disease and prepared leaflets providing leaflets on dealing with suspected of coronavirus.
