Contact Tracing Highlights
  1. Cluster 203290: Contact tracing of a 12-year-old female citizen who tested positive after developing symptoms revealed 28 positive cases, from 6 different households. Of the cases detected, 23 are cases of direct contact and 5 are secondary infections. The cases detected are family related and include the index case’s mother, brothers, aunts and cousins, and 6 cases are below the age of 10.
  2. Cluster 204591: A 48-year-old male citizen who tested positive after developing symptoms revealed 12 positive cases of primary infections and 3 secondary infections, resulting in a total of 15 positive cases from 3 different households. The cases detected are family related and include the index case’s parents, wife, children, siblings, nieces and nephews. 
  3. Cluster 204934: Contact tracing of a symptomatic 66-year-old female citizen revealed 12 family related positive cases from 5 different households.  The cases detected include the index case’s husband, daughters, son-in-law and grandchildren, all of whom had direct contact with the index case.
  4. Cluster 205206: Contact tracing of a 30-year-old female citizen who tested positive after developing symptoms revealed 20 positive cases from 5 different households.  The cases detected are family related and include the index case’s children, siblings, their spouses, nieces and nephews.  Further contact tracing of one of the nephews revealed his grandfather as a positive case of secondary infection. This cluster resulted in a total of 21 positive cases.
  5. Cluster 209787: A 50-year-old female citizen who tested positive after developing symptoms revealed a total of 15 positive cases from 5 different households, all of whom had direct contact with the index case at a family gathering. The cases detected include the index case’s mother, husband, children, siblings, brother-in-law, and nieces.
  6. Cluster 206983: Contact tracing of a 25-year-old female citizen who tested positive after developing symptoms revealed a total of 12 positive cases from 2 different households. The cases detected had direct contact with the index case and include her husband, children, her in-laws and their children.
