Contact Tracing Highlights
  1. Cluster 116886 Contact tracing of a 48-year-old male citizen who tested positive through random community screening revealed 9 positive cases from one household, all of whom had direct contact with the index case. The cases detected are family related and include the index case’s wife and children.
  2. Cluster 114555 A 33-year-old female citizen tested positive after developing symptoms.  Through contact tracing 10 positive cases were detected across 4 different households. The cases detected are family related and had contact with each other at a family gathering and include her two sisters, brother-in-law, her brother-in-law’s wife, and her niece and nephew. All of them had direct contact with the index case.
  3. Cluster 116239 Contact tracing of a 40-year-old male citizen who tested positive through random community screening revealed 16 positive cases across 5 different households, all of whom had direct contact with the index case at a family gathering.  The cases detected include the index case’s parents, wife, daughter, siblings, their spouses and children.  Further contact tracing of 4 of his family members revealed 7 additional cases of secondary infections .  This cluster resulted in a total of 23 positive cases.
  4. Cluster 117274 A 43-year-old male citizen tested positive after developing symptoms.  Contact tracing identified the index case’s father and son as positive cases.  Further contact tracing of the index case’s father revealed an additional 9 positive cases of secondary infection including his children, son-in-law and grandchildren. This cluster resulted in a total of 11 positive cases.
  5. Cluster 115136 Contact tracing of a 32-year-old male expatriate who tested positive through random community screening revealed 18 positive cases, all of whom had direct contact with the index case.  The cases detected are work-related and include the index case’s co-workers who share accommodation across 11 different locations.  Further contact tracing of two of the co-workers revealed 4 additional cases of secondary infection.  This cluster resulted in a total of 22 positive cases.
