Contact Tracing Highlights
- Cluster 97940: A 38-year-old male citizen tested positive through random community screening. Contact tracing revealed 13 family-related positive cases from 4 different households. Cases include the index case’s wife, children, mother, siblings, sister-in-law, nieces and nephews, all of whom had direct contact with the index case during a family gathering. Further contact tracing revealed an additional case of secondary infection of one of the sibling’s daughter. This cluster resulted in a total of 14 positive cases.
- Cluster 97970: A 30-year-old male citizen tested positive through random community screening. Through contact tracing, 11 positive cases were revealed from 5 different households all of whom had direct contact with the index case. The cases detected are family related and include the index case’s wife, son, parents, brother, sister, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, niece and nephew.
- Cluster 97727: Contact tracing of a 54-year-old female citizen who tested positive through random community screening revealed 14 positive cases from 5 different households. The cases detected are family related and include the index case’s husband, children, mother, siblings, sister-in-law, nieces and nephews, all of whom had direct contact with the index case.
- Cluster 97717: A 65-year-old female citizen tested positive after developing symptoms. Contact tracing revealed 14 positive cases from 5 different households. The cases detected are the index case’s immediate family members and include her daughters, son-in-law, daughter-in-law and grandchildren.
- Cluster 99578: Contact tracing of a 62-year-old male expatriate who tested positive after developing symptoms revealed 4 positive cases, all of whom had direct contact with the index case. The cases detected are work related and share accommodation in 2 different locations. Further contact tracing of one of the colleagues revealed an additional 6 positive cases of secondary infections. This cluster resulted in a total of 10 positive cases.
