Contact Tracing Highlights
  1. Cluster 97987: A 47-year-old female citizen tested positive after developing symptoms.  Contact tracing revealed 14 positive cases from 5 different households, all of whom had direct contact with the index case at a social gathering.  The cases detected are family related and include the index case’s husband, father, children, siblings, nephews and relatives. Contact tracing of one of the relatives revealed an additional case of secondary infection.  This cluster resulted in a total of 15 positive cases.
  2. Cluster 95172: Contact tracing of a 38-year-old male expatriate who tested positive after developing symptoms revealed 25 positive cases, all of whom had direct contact with the index case.  The cases are work related with some sharing accommodations in 4 different locations. 
  3. Cluster 95953: Contact tracing of a 51-year-old male citizen who tested positive after developing symptoms revealed 4 positive cases from 2 different households.  The cases detected are family related and include the index case’s wife, daughters and sister, all of whom had direct contact with the index case.  Further contact tracing of the index case’s sister revealed 6 additional positive cases that include her husband, children and domestic helper.  This cluster resulted in a total of 10 positive cases.
  4. Cluster 97656: A 38-year-old male expatriate tested positive after developing symptoms.  Through contact tracing, 13 positive cases were revealed from 2 different accommodation units.  The cases detected work in the same company and had direct contact with the index case.
  5. Cluster 95921: Contact tracing of a 76-year-old male citizen who tested positive after developing symptoms revealed 8 positive cases from 2 different households.  The cases detected are the index case’s direct family members across three generations.
  6. Cluster 95863: A 43-year-old male expatriate tested positive after developing symptoms.  Contact tracing revealed 9 positive cases, all of whom had direct contact with the index case.  The cases work in the same company and share accommodation in 3 locations.  Further contact tracing revealed an additional case of secondary infection who also works in the same company.  This cluster resulted in a total of 10 positive cases.
