About author: Public Health Senior Specialist/ MOHLight Emitting Diode (LED) is the scientific name for the lamps that spread widely recently. LED lamps have a lifespan and electrical efficiency which are several times longer than incandescent lamps, and significantly more efficient than most fluorescent lamps, and they have a nicer shape and do not contain Flour and Quicksilver. All these features made LED lamps more desirable for customers to use for house decoration, in restaurants and they are even used now in kids and adults trainers.

LED lights are environment friendly because they do not deplete energy resources or contribute to the global warming phenomena, however a study made in 2010 the US showed that these lights contain Arsenic, lead and other poisonous substances.

Researchers confirmed that these lights could be a great danger if got broken, therefore we should be very cautious in collecting the broken pieces of these lights and put on gloves and masks while collecting them, and recommended manufacturers of LED lights to use less concentrated minerals in making these lights to be safer for people and environment.

At last we could say that we could make use the most of these lights by using them safely. And I advise those using LED shoes to avoid opening the light installed inside them or entering the water in them and watch out for children wearing them.

A survey distributed to LED users viewed that they are nice in shape but impractical and not comfy to wear for long distances.

So what do you think of theses shoes? Is it a necessity nowadays?
